The molecular size of hyaluronic acid determines the depth of its delivery into the skin. This formula combines low, medium and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, plus a next generation cross-linked hyaluronic acid polymer at a combined concentration of 2% for multi-depth hydration in a water-based formula. This system is supported by the addition of vitamin B5 which also enhances surface hydration.
Note: Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in the skin but its natural function within the skin is not to moisturize. Many products have used hyaluronic acid to claim hydrating benefits, but the hyaluronic acid molecule is too large to penetrate the skin and instead sits on the surface and can draw moisture from the skin making the surface feel temporarily soft and hydrated, while leaving you feeling like you need more hyaluronic acid after rinsing the product off. This formula uses three forms of hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights, plus a hyaluronic acid cross-polymer, to provide multi-depth hydration and visible plumping without drawing water from the skin just to improve temporary surface hydration.
How to use:
